Last day of work

I'm going to my last day of work at InAlliance, where I have been a Case Manager supporting people with developmental disabilities. I have really enjoyed the work I have done there and will take this experience everywhere I go... next stop Swaziland! So much to be grateful for!

Swaziland!

I've never blogged before, so be nice ; ) The Peace Corps application process took me awhile, but I believe its all in "perfect timing".

I received my Invitation Packet last week and Travel Info the other day. I just made my flight reservation with Sato Travel. I will be flying out of SF on Thu June 24th at 12:30PM on a non-stop flight to Hotlanta. Then will be flying out of Hotlanta on Sat June 25th at 7:25PM, landing in 40 degree Jo'burg on Sun June 26th at 5:05PM (During the World Cup!) Then... on Mon June 27th at 6:50AM flying out of Jo'burg SA landing in Manzini Swaziland at 7:40AM. The travel agency man was very "serious" but after we were all done with making the reservations, he congratulated me and wished me well with my travels. I thanked him and told him how easy everything has been so far with gathering info and prepping for my departure. (Other than my nerves) which have been much more in faith than fear. This process has been amazing and the journey hasn't even really started yet...

Back to more info gathering and prepping... & yoga...
